The DUNU DN-2000, whose company slogan stands for “Delicate, Unique & Utmost” have established themselves as a tour de force where the territories of the mid-high range IEMs are concerned. Following the success of their well-received DN-1000, they have soon released a more capable offering in a champagne-gold bulleted shell.
Priced at around $300, the DUNU DN-2000 is $100 dearer than its older sibling and competes with other hybrid In-ear monitors (IEMs) including T-Peos Altone 200, Sony’s XBA-H3 and Fidue’s A83. Whether the DN-2000’s performance lives up to the DN-1000’s legacy remains to be seen.
